Jeyo Remote 1.0
Q: Which mobile phones does Jeyo Remote support?
A: Ericsson T616, T610, T68i, T68, T39, R520.
Q: Where can I find the Jeyo Remote menu on my T610 or T616?
A: You will find it listed under "Connectivity" -> "Accessories".
Q: I noticed that some of the key mappings do not work as expected on my T610 or T616. Why?
A: Sony Ericsson T616/T610 have different hardware keys than the predecessor models. The current version of Jeyo Remote does not recognize these new keys, since it was designed before these models came out. This will be fixed in the next release.
Q: Where is Jeyo Remote installed?
A: The Jeyo Remote application is installed on your PC and sends its control user interface to your phone when the two are connected via Bluetooth and a remote session is active. There is no need to install new software on the phone itself.
Q: What COM port does Bluetooth on Sony Ericsson mobile phones use?
A: Typically Sony Ericsson T616/T610/T68i/T68 uses COM4 and T39/R520 uses COM3.
Q: Why cannot Jeyo Remote recognize the high COM port my Bluetooth hardware or software uses?
A: Currently Jeyo Remote does not support any COM port above COM9. This limitation will be removed in the next release.
Q: When I click on "Win Control" from the Jeyo Remote menu on my mobile phone, all I get is a horizontal scrolling bar. How do I control my PC?
A: This is how the UI is supposed to look like. When you see the scrolling bar, you can start pressing buttons on your phone to send remote control commands to your PC.
Q: How do I control WinAMP 3.x?
A: First download and install the WinAmp control plug-in from the Downloads area of our website.
Q: When I try to control WinAMP, Jeyo Remote tells me that "There must be at least one item in the playlist." I have many songs in my playlist. What is causing this error?
A: The problem you are experiencing most likely is caused by small variation among different versions of WinAMP interface. We are working on a fix.
