Q: Which devices work with Jeyo Mobile Companion?
A: Any Windows Mobile Smartphone or PocketPC Phone Edition device.
Q: I bought Jeyo Mobile Companion. Can I install it on more than one machine?
A: Yes. The purchase of Jeyo Mobile Companion entitles you to run it on up to three machines. E-mail our support alias (support@jeyo.com) the product ID's from these machines from the e-mail address with which you registered and we will send you additional keys.
Q: Mobile Companion won’t send my Chinese/Arabic/other unicode SMSs.
A: Check to make sure that your PC is using the character set that you intend to send from your phone. The Companion does not support automatic translation of character sets between your PC and Phone.
Q: I purchased Jeyo Mobile Companion and registered it but it is now telling me that my trial has expired.
A: The registration key provided when you purchased the Companion is specific to your hardware and software configuration. If you re-install windows or wish to use the Mobile Companion on another machine you will need to obtain a new registration key. Please e-mail our support alias telling us your new Product ID and we will send you a new key.
Q: The Mobile Companion is running on my machine but it won’t connect to my MS Mobile Smartphone or PocketPC Phone Edition device.
A: Your mobile phone may be locked. If so it will display a confirmation dialog on your mobile device when you attempt to connect to the Mobile Companion. You will need to respond to this dialog on your device before the Mobile Companion will connect.
Q: I’m receving an error from the Mobile Companion Agent (comman.exe)
A: You may need to delete the agent from your mobile device so that the Mobile Companion can download a new copy. To do so, follow these steps: 1. obtain a file browser for your Windows mobile device (or you can "explore" it over Activesync while the Mobile Companion is not running) 2. navigate to your device's "ipsm\windows" or "storage\windows" directory and delete the file named "comman.exe" 3. try using Jeyo Mobile Companion again
Q: Jeyo Mobile Companion won’t synchronize with my MMSs.
A: The Companion doesn’t currently support MMSs, only SMSs.
